I am still working on my list for PA but so far nothing has been too promising. It seems I had already found all the non-chexsystems banks in the entire state. I am not going to give up. I believe there have to be a few more there at least.
The bad news of the day was when I realized that People's Bank will not longer approve those reported to chexsystems if the report shows any type of " fraud or suspected fraud". Of course most have this indicated on their reports. So what was once considered a guaranteed account is no longer.
Things got better when Mike sent me an update on his new account:
Hi Mary, well today is a happy day. I just received my visa gold debit card. I love the people at fidelity investments so much...from the branch to the 800 operators. The 4 day funds available is such a non-issue now. They are a class act institution and I will never bank with anyone else. And I owe it all to you. Thank you so much.
